Premier League football is back in N5 this afternoon as Arsenal host Everton. It is a third game in six days for the Gunners and confidence in the squad should be high having responded to defeat at Brighton before the international break by putting together a four-game unbeaten run, including a 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich in the Champions League last time out.
Mikel Arteta, though, has been dealt a major blow after Bukayo Saka sustained a quad injury inside 10 minutes at the Allianz Arena and will be sidelined indefinitely. The winger joins Christos Tzolis and William Saliba on the sidelines, but Piero Hincapie has made a swift recovery from an ankle issue and returns to the Arsenal matchday squad.
Everton, meanwhile, saw their unbeaten start to the season end against Chelsea last weekend and have ex-Gunners Christian Norgaard and Ainsley Maitland-Niles in their ranks as they seek a rare away win in this fixture.
