What The Manager Had to Say

The Spaniard specified some details, noting that Pedro pulled up on Friday during training. The player felt an issue and has to undergo some testing. The worrying statement is that the player is still to undergo tests to determine “how big” the injury is. Tests and uncertainty are never fun for fans to deal with as it is easy to assume the worst for any player who has dealt with issues in the past.

For now, the manager will have to focus on finding a solution for his team in the absence of one of his star attackers.

The Last Word

The Brazilian striker has been dealing with injuries already in this term, he missed the loss to Brentford just before the international break. His hot start to the season as well as the sale of Nicolas Jackson, leaves the squad without a similar striking profile. Danny Welbeck has been decent since joining but he is a totally different profile at his age.

Blues fans will be hoping that this is just a temporary problem and that Pedro will be back soon lest they continue to see some experimentation in the effective front three with Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers.
