GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The Packers have officially activated RB Josh Jacobs from exempt status ahead of Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.
The move comes after [Jacobs was removed from the Commissioner’s Exempt List on Monday.](https://www.wbay.com/2026/10/16/nfl-removes-josh-jacobs-exempt-list/)
He was placed on the list after misdemeanor charges of battery and criminal damage to property stemming from a fight with his then-girlfriend back in May were filed.
The NFL initiated an investigation under the Personal Conduct Policy following his arrest. The league’s review remains ongoing and is not affected by this change to Jacobs’ roster status.
In addition to Jacobs’ activation, the Packers also activated DT Jordon Riley from the Physically Unable to Participate list, signed WR Coleman Owen from the practice squad to the main roster, and elevated EDGE Arron Mosby from the practice squad to the active roster.
