AEW is weighing its options for WrestleMania 43 weekend in 2027, when WWE is scheduled to bring the event to Saudi Arabia. The overseas setting could give AEW an opportunity to stage a major event in the United States, though the company hasn’t announced any plans.
Speaking on a recent edition of “The Certified Mark Show,” AEW referee and travel department manager Bryce Remsburg was asked whether the company had discussed taking advantage of WrestleMania’s location. He confirmed that conversations are underway. He said,
“Yeah, I think I can say that conversations are being had around what we might do that weekend. How about that?”
“And there are some factors out of our control that would contribute to our decisions. So we’ll kind of see what happens, and then we’ll see what happens.”
One possible venue for a future AEW stadium show is Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles. Remsburg said the stadium’s experience hosting WrestleMania and Philadelphia’s strong history as an AEW market could put it in the mix for an eventual All In. He said,
“I will say the fact they’ve hosted wrestling before, which is WrestleMania, is a positive. That means they know what they’re doing. They know what to do. And I will say Philadelphia has been one of the best AEW markets since it started. So, if we were looking for a domestic stadium to host an All In at, I do think the Linc would be in the conversation.”
“I don’t think it’s going to happen next year or maybe after that. I’m not sure we have demand for a Linc show. I think [a smaller venue] would be more likely at this point because it’s a little smaller, but never, ever, ever say never. I’ll say that.”
