Not long before their Week 7 game, the Browns have worked out a contract extension. Defensive tackle **[Maliek Collins](https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CollMa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&utm_campaign=2026-10-24_pfr)** has a new deal in hand.
Collins agreed to a two-year extension on Saturday, [NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and ESPN’s Adam Schefter report](https://x.com/RapSheet/status/2114187244345188373). This is a two-year deal worth $30MM. It includes $23MM in guarantees.
Collins had been a pending free agent. Instead, he will now be under team control through 2028 as a result of this new deal. A notable raise has been worked out, with Collins having inked a two-year, $20MM contract in free agency last spring.
