Newcastle United fullback Tino Livramento is back in light training, according to the Daily Mail reporter Craig Hope.
The journalist is very reliable when it comes to information on the Magpies, and he claims that Livramento has managed to avoid a lengthy layoff and could return to action soon:
“I’m told that the issue, first felt in training last month, was initially thought to be innocuous. However, after tests, it was revealed that Livramento needed a period of rest and recovery.”
“He has avoided serious injury, I understand, and has been doing some light work on the grass the past week or so.”
Livramento has already missed 3 games
The knee injury that the England international picked up sidelined him for the win over Hull City and the defeats to Coventry and Aston Villa.
Livramento has not managed to start a match so far this season, having come on as a substitute against Bournemouth and Leeds, as well as playing the second half of the 1-0 win over Millwall in the third round of the Carabao Cup last month.

When could the Newcastle star make his comeback?
Livramento won’t feature against Crystal Palace, but Hopes’s information suggests that the defender should be available before the next international break.
After the Magpies’ clash at Selhurst Park, Matthias Jaissle‘s men will take on Everton in the Carabao Cup on Thursday night. They then face the Toffees again in the league at St James’ Park a week on Monday.
Their last match prior to the break will be against Fulham at Craven Cottage on November 7th. Livramento should be in contention for one or more of these three fixtures.
