Borussia Dortmund are “relaxed” about the interest being shown in Man City transfer target Mathis Albert, according to reports in Germany.
Bild have confirmed claims from earlier this week that the Cityzens are keeping close tabs on the American international.

The tabloid newspaper have also revealed that Arsenal and Liverpool are tracking Albert, although those two teams are said to have “fewer chances” of landing the winger than Enzo Maresca’s side.
At the moment, though, the 17-year-old is going nowhere, with Dortmund having tied down the player to a professional contract.
Albert will put pen to paper at the end of the season
The teenager will turn 18 on May 21st next year, and that is when he will sign on to professional terms with Dortmund, despite having already made his senior debut for the club.
Albert has made 3 appearances for Niko Kovac’s side so far. He made his first-team bow last season against Freiburg in April.
The forward has subsequently played two more matches this campaign, in the German Cup against HEBC Hamburg at the beginning of September and the 0-0 draw versus Union Berlin in the Bundesliga last week.

Man City will be waiting in the wings
The fact that Albert will sign a professional contract means that the Cityzens will have to pay a substantial fee to buy the player in the future.
However, Bild claim a transfer is not completely out of the question as the youngster “needs playing time”.
If Albert doesn’t get minutes on a regular basis for the first team, he may well consider his options, with City seemingly at the front of the queue if he becomes available.
