Bombshell Trade: Adam Schefter Reveals Elite NFL Running Back Is On The Brink Of Being Traded

Adam Schefter has delivered a major NFL trade update that could have a significant impact on the league as the November 10 deadline approaches. One of the NFL’s premier running backs is now being mentioned in trade discussions, and multiple teams are reportedly keeping an eye on the situation.

The possibility of a blockbuster deal comes after a major shake-up within the player’s current organization. With the franchise facing important decisions about its future, the next few games could determine whether it holds on to its star talent or begins looking toward next season.

Adam Schefter Says Major NFL Running Back Trade Is Being Heavily Pursued

According to reporting from Schefter and fellow NFL insider Ian Rapoport for ESPN, the Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos and Minnesota Vikings are among the teams that have considered or are expected to consider pursuing Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor in a potential trade.

That does not mean a deal is imminent. However, the fact that several teams could be interested in acquiring a player of Taylor’s caliber makes this a situation worth watching closely.

The Colts’ direction could ultimately determine whether Taylor remains in Indianapolis.

According to ESPN’s report, the organization wants to see how its next three games play out before making a final decision about its roster. Indianapolis faces the Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville Jaguars and Dallas Cowboys during that stretch.

If the Colts can put together a strong run and improve their position in the playoff race, they could have a reason to keep their core players together. If the results go the other way, however, the franchise could consider trading veterans in exchange for draft capital and other resources to help build for the future.

The situation has become even more interesting following Indianapolis’ decision to fire general manager Chris Ballard. The organization now faces questions about its long-term plans, and Taylor is one of several notable players who could attract interest from teams looking to strengthen their rosters.

Still, Indianapolis has not officially announced that Taylor is available, and a trade should not be considered a certainty.
