As expected, Las Vegas Raiders rookie running back Mike Washington will play Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. Kickoff is at 1:25 p.m. PT.
Washington was listed as questionable to play with foot/back injuries. He missed Thursday and Friday’s practices after he was limited Wednesday. Raiders coach Klint Kubiak indicated Friday the team expected Washington to play against the Rams.
Washington, a fourth-round pick, played a season-high 23 snaps in Week 6 and he had nine carries for 43 yards.
Raiders’ starting linebacker Quay Walker is also active. He was downgraded to questionable on Saturday with a chest injury.
Meanwhile, for the battered Rams star wide receiver Puka Nacua is active. He was questionable with a calf injury he hurt Thursday and he didn’t practice Friday. He worked out prior to Sunday’s game to determine his availability. Star Rams’ cornerback Trent McDuffie (groin) is inactive after also being listed as questionable. Linebacker Nate Landman (concussion) is out. The Rams are also missing several defensive linemen and wide receiver Davante Adams.
