A clash of two Spanish giants, it will be a defining moment in this season’s race for the La Liga title and both teams have their own hopes of winning all three points.
Moreover, it seems that Hansi Flick’s decision to make rotations against PSG in the previous game have paid off. The German coach has officially decided to start arguably the strongest eleven that is currently available to him.
Here is the [official starting eleven](https://x.com/FCBarcelona/status/2114428089640092065?s=20) for La Blaugrana for El Clasico.
In goal, Joan Garcia remains the obvious pick and he will be hoping to carry on the momentum from the previous game in the UEFA Champions League. Despite the loss, the Spaniard was at the top of his game.
Ahead of him, Flick has decided to continue with the reliable partnership of Pau Cubarsi and Gerard Martin. Both players will need to be sharp, however, if they want to limit Real Madrid’s chances at goal.
On the flanks, Joao Cancelo and Xavi Espart are starting this game and both players will have a lot of ground to cover. While their offensive quality is undeniable, they will need to do well defensively as well in this game.
In the midfield, Pedri and Rodri start together and they form Barça’s strongest double pivot. Both players will need to ensure that the Catalan giants dominate this game, and they possess the quality to ensure that.
Ahead of them, Lamine Yamal and Anthony Gordon start on the wings while Fermin Lopez starts as the team’s primary attacking midfielder. All three players will need to ensure that Real Madrid never get comfortable.
Lastly, up top, Raphinha starts for Barcelona and he will be eager to hurt Los Blancos in this game. The Brazilian will want to return to his scoring ways soon, and this is the perfect opportunity to do it.
