Manchester City are no longer perfect this season, after dropping all three points at Aston Villa yesterday. It was a win that was celebrated by supporters of numerous clubs, not just Aston Villa. City can’t dwell on the defeat for too long, however, as the next match will get here very quickly. Luckily for the Cityzens, their injury list is extremely short. Matheus Nunes was left out of the matchday squad that lost to Villa, due to his standing groin injury.

City manager Enzo Maresca said after the match that Nunes could be available for the next game, so let’s put him in the doubt category, instead of a definite absentee classification. Shifting gears to Brighton, They have a very long injury list, but they could see three names come off it, and reactivated into the matchday squad come midweek.
Pascal Struijk (thigh), Yankuba Minteh (calf/leg) and Mats Wieffer (knee) could all shake off their injuries and be available for selection in this one.
Femi Azeez (thigh) might be ready next weekend, when these two sides meet again, in the league.

Otherwise the list of standing injuries for the Seagulls remains quite long. Evan Ferguson, Stefanos Tzimas, Kaoru Mitoma, Zadok Yohanna and Ferdi Kadioglu are all out, and not poised to come back anytime soon.
The Seagulls currently sit third in the table, which is very impressive when you consider how many key players have been out of commission for them recently.
