Arsenal among Premier League trio watching Lennart Karl situation

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are monitoring the situation of Bayern Munich youngster Lennart Karl.

Karl has struggled for regular minutes this season and has started only three games in the Bundesliga. According to reports in Germany, Karl’s recent performances and social media presence have irked some of the hierarchy at the German champions.

Last week, Bayern honorary president Uli Hoeneß said he was planning talks with the 18-year-old.

“I’m planning to have a serious talk with Lennart Karl. He’s far from being a superstar. The young players need humility. Comparisons to Olise are not doing him any good; there’s still a world of difference between them”, he told Weltamsonntag.

Premier League sides are now watching the situation closely, according to TEAMtalk. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all open to a deal, while Barcelona and Real Madrid are admirers. Karl’s contract expires in 2029.

The teenager broke into the Bayern side last season and impressed during the club’s title success. He scored five goals and added five assists in 26 league appearances, and recorded six goal involvements in eight Champions League games.
