**Andrée Jeglertz praised Manchester City’s grit and determination after their 1-1 draw with Manchester United.**
The City boss felt his side handled the emotion of the contest well and was satisfied with the way they stuck to their game plan.
“It’s always difficult. There is a lot of emotions from the opponent and from us also,” Jeglertz said.
“I think on the field we managed it in a good way and I always think there is something with people when we support our own team. That is the most important thing to do.
“But we battled well. There was a lot of emotions on the pitch and we dealt with it in a good way and we played how we wanted.”
Jeglertz also insisted a point away from home was not a bad result.
“It was a tough game, a lot of teams will be challenged here and one point away is not a disaster,” he said.
“No one will go unbeaten in this league.
“And that is why it was important for us to, as soon as possible, take the learnings with us and move on.”
