The Kansas City Chiefs trip to the Pacific Northwest to face the Seattle Seahawks was billed as Kenneth Walker's 'revenge game' after the running back left the Super Bowl champions in free agency.

But Walker limped to his worst game of the year so far before leaving the field and choosing not to shake hands with any of his former teammates.

Walker spent four years with the Seahawks, winning the Super Bowl and being named Super Bowl MVP, before signing a three-year, $45 million deal with the Chiefs. The Seahawks are not believed to have offered Walker a contract having opted against matching Kansas City's offer.

Walker has sent shots towards the Seahawks throughout the offseason, stating that his new team 'appreciates him'. And in his first return to Seattle, Walker did not shake hands or meet with any of his former teammates after the game.

The running back was seen leaving the field as soon as the final whistle had blown, while all other Chiefs players met with the Seahawks to shake hands - including Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Andy Reid.

The Seahawks defense was dominant in the game, having all the answers for Walker's rushing attack, having 14 carries for just 36 yards, going for 2.6 yards a carry.

Meanwhile, Seattle is down to their third-string running back in Emanuel Wilson, with Jadarian Price and Zach Charbonnet still sidelined, as Wilson ran for 100 yards on 4.2 yards per carry with a touchdown.

The Seahawks are likely to welcome back both Charbonnet and Price next week, while hoping to spark their offense outside of Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Smith-Njigba is already closing in on a 1,000-yard season in just seven games, currently at 857 yards and eight touchdowns - comfortably leading the league in both categories.

This had been the Chiefs' first loss in what has been a red-hot start to the season, with Walker being one of the favorites to win Offensive Player of the Year through the first six weeks.

While Smith-Njigba is competing with him for that crown, the Chiefs will hope that the Seahawks have now not found the blueprint on how to stop Walker - who Kansas City has been relient upon so far.

For the first-time in his career, Mahomes failed to make it to the red-zone in an NFL game, being held to just one field goal as Seattle ran out 20-3 winners.

The Chiefs move to 5-1 while the win takes the Seahawks to 4-3 as they prepare to face the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football.
