Former Dallas Cowboys star Dez Bryant says he was held at gunpoint by police officers in front of his family after a road rage incident.
According to Bryant, an altercation developed between himself and two men that the former NFL wide receiver accused of reckless driving.
One of the two men threatened to pull a gun on Bryant, but instead chose to pull out his phone to film before police were called.
According to video obtained by OutKick, Bryant and the two men were placed in handcuffs and were made to lay flat on the ground as police inspected all those involved.
One officer was seen pointing an assault rifle in the general direction of the three men.
In the video, Bryant's children can be heard in the background while a woman is heard telling officers that no one on the ground had a gun on their person.

Bryant says the two men who were driving recklessly cut him off as they both went to the same restaurant.
The two parties argued, before things escalated when one man threatened to pull a firearm.
'He go to threatening me and basically saying, um, he'll insinuate that he'll, you know, he'll shoot me or whatever,' Bryant said.
'You pull that gun, I'm telling you right now, you better use it because if you don't I'm going to do something to you,' Bryant said he told the man.
No guns were pulled. Instead, one man grabbed his phone before Bryant pushed it away. When the man threatened to call police, Bryant says he encouraged it.
According to Bryant, the responding officer drew his weapon on all three men before the ex-Cowboys star's girlfriend and daughters arrived.
'I get on the ground,' Bryant said. 'My lady pulled up, she got my children, and they seen everything that's going on.'
Officers handcuffed each of the men and questioned them before putting Bryant in the back of a squad car. Eventually, Bryant was released with a citation. The other men also were released.

'I would rather you guys take us all down to the police station and do the proper investigation instead of just taking somebody else's side,' Bryant said. 'I felt like it was very one-sided.'
Bryant says no one was harmed. He added that he maintains a positive relationship with local police, which includes an officer who has a son on the same high school football team as Bryant's kid.
'Every time I see him, we talk ball. We just talk about the regular things,' Bryant said of that officer. 'It's always been good. This situation was just extremely unfortunate.'
