Kate Scott and Thierry Henry demonstrated their on-air chemistry during an unfortunate wardrobe mishap. The CBS Sports pair will reunite on Monday evening when they host the Ballon d'Or award ceremony in London.
Arsenal icon Henry has become a fan favourite in football broadcasting since taking his talents to the screen in recent years. For Scott, however, landing a gig like the Ballon d'Or ceremony is just reward for one of the most professional presenters in the sport.
And she had to exhibit that professionalism to prevent herself from baring all on live television during a Champions League broadcast last season. Almost exactly 12 months ago, she lined up alongside Henry, Micah Richards, Jamie Carragher and Clint Dempsey for an evening of European football.
But the night got off to a calamitous start during the introductions. The CBS Sports Golazo team were busy welcoming new addition Dempsey to the crew when Scott stretched a little too far across her desk to greet the Fulham legend.
Viewers were so nearly given an eyeful as a piece of Scott's shoulderless, burgundy top could be seen pinging away. She reacted in good spirits with wide eyes, however, as she exclaimed: "Oh! I've broken my top."

Henry couldn't initially believe what he was hearing as he responded: "Really?" There was less sympathy from the rest of the broadcasting team, though, as Richards, Carragher and Dempsey all descended into laughter.
"Now you know how it feels!" cried former Manchester City and Aston Villa defender Richards. "Give us a stretch then!"
Richards has had his own share of wardrobe blunders during his broadcasting career and, as he hinted, knows exactly how it feels. One incident three years ago saw the Premier League winner split his trousers while attempting to mimic Kylian Mbappe's iconic goal celebration.
He later burst his shirt open when leaping out of his chair to celebrate Raphinha's match-winning goal against Benfica in January 2025. Not that one could blame the integrity of the clothing given it would take such high-level craftsmanship to contain Richards' muscular build in that situation.
Following Scott's on-air wardrobe malfunction, Henry playfully imitated how the CBS Golazo host was sitting as she struggled to ensure she didn't show off more skin than she had been intending to.
Heading into Monday's Ballon d'Or ceremony, Harry Kane is battling Lamine Yamal as the frontrunners for the 2026 award. Bayern Munich frontman Kane helped guide England to the World Cup 2026 semi-finals, won another Bundesliga title and enjoyed the highest-scoring campaign of his career to date, with 73 goals in 65 games across the relevant period.
Yamal has a very strong case, however, as the ceremony falls in the same year he played a hand in Spain's return to world champion status. Last year's Ballon d'Or runner-up had less of a direct impact on goal, racking up 25 goals and 22 assists, but plays in a more demanding league and won La Liga in addition to the World Cup.
Scott and Henry will be front and centre when the winner's name is finally read out at the London Palladium. And the former will be keeping her wits about her to ensure she's remembered solely for her prolific presenting and nothing else.
