The Los Angeles Rams running back duo of Kyren Williams and Blake Corum achieved an NFL milestone on Sunday that had not been accomplished by two Rams running backs in a regular-season game for 25 years.
Williams and Corum each rushed for more than 90 yards in the Rams’ 35-21 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7, becoming the first Los Angeles pair to achieve the feat since legendary running back Marshall Faulk and Trung Canidate did so in 2001.

The performance provided a significant boost to a Rams offense looking to build momentum after an inconsistent start to the 2026 season.

Williams, 26, led the way as the starter, recording 99 rushing yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. Corum, 25, complemented him with an equally impressive performance, finishing with 93 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.
Their combined production gave the Rams a balanced rushing attack that helped them pull away from Las Vegas and secure an important victory.
The achievement recalls the days when Faulk was one of the NFL’s most dynamic offensive weapons. During his time with the Rams, Faulk established himself as a central figure in the franchise’s success, making the comparison particularly notable for the current backfield duo.
Although the 25-year regular-season drought has now ended, a similar accomplishment occurred in the playoffs more recently.
On January 12, 2019, Todd Gurley and C.J. Anderson each rushed for more than 100 yards and at least one touchdown during a divisional-round victory over the Dallas Cowboys. That game was also the final playoff contest played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Sunday’s victory improved Los Angeles to 3-4, giving the team an opportunity to build on its offensive success as the season progresses.
The performances of Williams and Corum could prove especially important as the Rams look to establish greater consistency. Having two productive running backs allows the offense to distribute carries, keep players fresh and create additional challenges for opposing defenses.
Their combined success against the Raiders also offers encouragement for a team that needs to string together victories to improve its position.
The Rams will return home in Week 8 to face the winless Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. With Williams and Corum coming off historic performances, Los Angeles will hope its productive rushing attack can carry over into the next matchup.
If the pair can maintain this level of production, the Rams could have a reliable offensive foundation to build on during the remainder of the 2026 campaign.
