Though the Philadelphia Eagles will be without their top two wide receivers, DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks, Tanner McKee received some good news heading into Week 7's edition of Monday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys, with not one, not two, but three key players coming off of injured reserve.

Taking to social media to announce the news shortly after the insiders broke the news, the Eagles announced five players who will be available to play in Week 7, including three, Grant Calcaterra, Landon Dickerson, and Eli Stowers, who are coming off of IR.

“We have activated TE Grant Calcaterra, G Landon Dickerson, and TE Eli Stowers from Injured Reserve,” the Eagles shared on social media. “We have also elevated OLB Keyshawn James-Newby and RB Elijah Mitchell for tonight’s game. CB Jakorian Bennett (knee) has been ruled out for the game.”

Initially landing on IR after Week 1 after clearly not looking 100 percent in a win over the Washington Commanders, Dickerson is the only returning player who actually saw the field for the Birds in 2026, but he shouldn't be the only one who makes an impact against the Cowboys.

While Dallas Goedert returned from injury earlier in the month, his direct backup, Zach Ertz, ran out of eligible practice squad elevations in Week 5, and can now only play for Philadelphia if he's signed to the active roster. With Calcaterra, who started six games in 2025, and 2026 second-round pick Stowers back, that decision may have to wait but should allow the Eagles to finally run the multi-tight end sets Sean Mannion was expected to bring to Philadelphia but has been largely unable to deploy due to injuries.

Will two more tight ends, plus a former Pro Bowl left guard, magically fix the Eagles' offense? Only time will tell, but considering all of the injuries around them, any reinforcements are a welcomed development at this point.
