A sold-out Highbury Stadium awaits on Tuesday night as Fleetwood Town welcome Arsenal in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
The Cods have beaten Chesterfield, Shrewsbury Town and Sheffield United to reach this stage. Now Matt Lawlor’s side face Premier League opposition under the Highbury lights, with a place in the quarter-finals at stake.
With an 8pm kick-off and a special pre-match show planned, supporters are encouraged to arrive early and take their places in plenty of time. Here is everything you need to know before heading to the stadium.
TICKET INFORMATION
Tuesday’s Carabao Cup tie is sold out. There will be no tickets available to purchase on the night.
Supporters with tickets are asked to check their stand and entry details before travelling, allow extra time to reach Highbury and have their tickets ready for inspection at the turnstiles. Please use the entrance shown on your ticket and follow the directions of stewards around the ground.
With a capacity crowd expected, the areas around the stadium and the turnstiles are likely to be particularly busy closer to kick-off. Arriving early will give you time to enter the ground and enjoy the full pre-match build-up.
JIM’S BAR AND RED & WHITES
Jim’s Bar will open at 4:30pm on Tuesday, giving home supporters plenty of time to enjoy the atmosphere before Town take on Arsenal.
Happy Hour will run from 4:30pm until 5:30pm, with the usual offer of 20% off drinks. Happy Hour is also scheduled to return from 9:45pm until 10:45pm, depending on the result.
Jim’s Bar will close at 7:30pm. At that point, customers will need to leave the bar and make their way to the stands through the turnstiles. Please allow enough time to do so before the pre-match show begins.
Red & Whites will open at 6:30pm. There will be no access before that time, and supporters will not be able to enter or leave via the Red & Whites rear exit.
Highbury Stadium is a cashless venue. Please use a bank card or contactless device for purchases.
The Parkside Lounge for hospitality guests will open at 5pm for guests attending Tuesday’s fixture.
PRE-MATCH ENTERTAINMENT
Supporters will want to be inside Highbury well before kick-off for a pre-match build-up befitting a special night at the club.
The Town players are expected to begin their warm-ups at approximately 7:15pm, accompanied by the players’ playlist. Club PA announcer Rod Allsworth will guide supporters through the build-up and announce the confirmed team line-ups around the stadium.
Following Rod’s welcome, This Is Our Town will be shown on the big screen. A dazzling light show and a spectacular pyrotechnics display will then accompany the players’ walkout. The Fisherman’s Friend crowd surfer will also return ahead of kick-off by popular demand, adding to the atmosphere as the Cod Army gets ready to back the team.
Supporters are encouraged to be in their seats or standing positions by 7:45pm so they do not miss any of the show before the 8pm kick-off.
FOOD AND DRINK KIOSKS
Stadium kiosks will open at 6:30pm and close at 9:30pm.
Hot food, drinks and snacks will be available before kick-off. The food selection will be restricted after half-time, although drinks and snacks will remain available until the kiosks close.
Queues are likely to be busiest shortly before kick-off and at half-time, so please buy refreshments early where possible. All stadium kiosks are cashless.
