The Carolina Panthers took a beating against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7, and one of their players suffered an injury in the process. Taylor Moton fractured his fibula, and that's not good news for the offensive line or Bryce Young. It's led the Panthers to place him on injured reserve, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

“Panthers placed right tackle Taylor Moton on injured reserve,” Schefter wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

It'll have to be next man up for the Panthers now, and it has to be quick as they face the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football. Monroe Freeling was the person that came in for Moton at right tackle, and the rookie did his best to hold his ground.

Young had some kind words for Moton after his injury, and he knows that his teammate will come back stronger.

“I feel for [Moton] so much,” Young said via ESPN's Mike Kaye. “Such a great human being — such a great guy. He's so much of the glue for us in the locker room. Obviously, he's been with us for long; that veteran presence means so much. He worked so hard to get back to where it was. It was obviously killing him not being able to be out there to start the year … and [I'm] just praying for him. He's as resilient as they come.”

It was obvious that Moton's presence was missing, as the Panthers gave up five sacks, including one that led to a defensive touchdown.

The Panthers definitely want to get the bad taste out of their mouth from that game, and the hope is that they can bounce back against the Packers.
