Panthers place OT Taylor Moton on injured reserve

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Carolina Panthers have placed offensive tackle Taylor Moton on injured reserve, meaning he’ll miss a minimum of four weeks.

Moton suffered what Coach Dave Canales confirmed to be a fractured fibula in Sunday’s 43-13 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was carted off the field by the Panthers’ training staff in the third quarter.

The injury comes less than two weeks after the veteran tackle was reinstated at practice. He missed the majority of training camp and the start of the regular season after doctors discovered blood clots in his lung.

Moton has played in 147 games, starting 130 of them, over 10 seasons with the Carolina Panthers.
