Hollywood icon and Oakland native Zendaya was spotted at Folsom High School on Friday night, where she went to watch her nephew, E.J. Coleman, play on Senior Night. The 30-year-old got quite the show from the Bulldogs, too, as the perennial Northern California powerhouse had a back-and-forth, down-to-the-wire battle with local rival Del Oro and escaped with a 42-41 win.

Based on numerous social media posts, Zendaya sat in the school’s “Dog House” section behind one end zone, which was reserved for family and friends on Friday night at the Sacramento-area high school. But the Hollywood star posed for photos with Folsom’s cheerleading team and other teenagers, plus sang along when “Wonderwall” by Oasis was played in the stadium. The starlet was not hard to spot, wearing a fluffy jacket and sunglasses for the night game.

Zendaya, whose full name is Zendaya Coleman, has five older half-siblings on her father’s side and has taken her nieces and nephews to Hollywood events. She’s spoken openly about how close she is with her family in the past and how much she wants to be a role model for them.

Coleman posted about his “auntie” coming to see him play on multiple social media platforms. On his Instagram post from the night, he showed a photo he took with the Hollywood star wearing a custom shirt featuring Coleman in uniform as well as jeans that were decorated by hand to celebrate Coleman, with “EJ” and Bulldogs logos on them.

Coleman is primarily a linebacker (though he occasionally plays on offense) who is third on the team in tackles (42), tied for second in tackles for a loss (5.5) and scored a touchdown on a fumble return in a September win over Sacred Heart Cathedral at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco. Considered a three-star prospect, he’s committed to play college football at Washington State starting next fall.
