WASHINGTON AFTER TD
The Steelers won in Week 7 despite offensive issues. QB Aaron Rodgers said as much after the game. The Steelers only scored one touchdown against the New Orleans Saints. However, it was impressive, with TE Darnell Washington outmuscling a Saints defensive back for the ball.
NFL Films shared a video that gave a closer look at Washington’s touchdown, as well as his reaction on the sideline afterwards. He celebrated in style, saying hello in French. His teammates and coaches were just as excited, too. While it was Washington’s only catch of the day, it was an exceptional play.
WILSON CREDITS DL
The Steelers’ run defense dominated the New Orleans Saints, only allowing 18 rushing yards. While that unit had some problems in the pass game, it deserves a lot of credit for what it did against the run.
LB Payton Wilson credited the Steelers’ defensive line for that performance in an interview posted on Sky Sports’ YouTube channel. Wilson had a good game, but it’s nice to hear him praise his teammates. The Steelers’ defensive line deserves its flowers, especially for its excellence without key players Derrick Harmon and Sebastian Joseph-Day.
SNOOP DOGG HAPPY AFTER STEELERS WIN
Many were concerned about the Steelers going to Paris to play their Week 7 game. However, despite civil unrest in France, the event seemed to go well. The Steelers had plenty of support in Paris, and luckily, they gave fans a lot to cheer for.
That includes rapper Snoop Dogg. He’s been a big Steelers fan for a long time, and he posted a quick video on Twitter after Pittsburgh’s Week 7 win. He expressed his joy in a way that only Snoop Dogg can. The Steelers are on a three-game win streak, so hopefully they keep giving Snoop Dogg and other fans reasons to celebrate.
