JAY-Z to headline Apple Music Super Bowl 2027 halftime show
After years of helping bring artists to the Super Bowl Halftime Show, JAY-Z will take the stage himself, with Apple Music offering exclusive content ahead of the performance.
Apple Music, alongside the NFL and Roc Nation, has announced that JAY-Z will perform at the Apple Music Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show. The show will take place at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, February 14, 2027.
"From Reasonable Doubt to standing on the Super Bowl Halftime stage, this has been a journey," JAY-Z said in a statement. "Thirty years of music, work, and culture on the world's biggest stage. This run continues to be a dream come true."
As it's done with previous Halftime stars, Apple has released JAY-Z's Road to Halftime on Apple Music. It will include exclusive content, season-long programming, and experiences created in partnership with the NFL.
"JAY-Z's impact on global music culture is as profound as it is undeniable," said Oliver Schusser, Apple's Vice President of Music and International Content.
"We've had the privilege of working closely with him these last few years to bring some of the world's most exciting and prolific artists to the Super Bowl Halftime Show stage and we are so thrilled that he will be taking that stage himself this year. We know it's going to be an incredible show."
Viewers can tune into the show on ESPN, ABC and Disney+, and on mobile devices with NFL+. ESPN's Spanish-language telecast will also be available on ESPN Deportes and Disney+, with a separate Spanish-language presentation on Univision.
Apple Music took over sponsorship of the NFL's Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2022, with its first artist being Rihanna. She was followed by Usher a year later.
Kendrick Lamar headlined in 2025. In 2026, Bad Bunny was the headline act.
