Oregon quarterback Dante Moore is not expected to play the rest of the season, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

The Ducks’ quarterback suffered a concussion on Sept. 26 against USC and had not played since.

Moore was among the quarterbacks the Arizona Cardinals have scouted throughout the season, as he was projected as the top quarterback in the 2027 class before the season began.

The senior returned to Eugene rather than declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft after his junior year. He was expected to be one of the top picks then as well.

Moore threw for 3,565 yards and 30 touchdowns with just 10 interceptions in 2025, and had 9 passing touchdowns with no interceptions through four games in 2026 before his injury.

Oregon’s second game was against Oklahoma State when multiple NFL scouts and front office personnel, including the Cardinals, were in attendance to watch Moore square off with OSU’s Drew Mestemaker.
