The 28-year-old has been playing with less freedom under Mikel Arteta, despite helping the team achieve Premier League glory in his debut season at the club.
Arteta has been impressed by Eze this season, though, and as I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider's Transfer Insider podcast, Saka's latest issue is set to see the England playmaker given a run in the Gunners side ahead of his teammates.
Saka was forced off in Arsenal's Champions League draw at Bayern Munich in midweek and the club reportedly fear that the quadriceps injury will see him sidelined for two months.
Eberechi Eze has the chance to turn his Arsenal career around
Eze registered 15 goal contributions in 52 appearances for Arsenal last season, after a campaign in which he notched 26 in 43 games for Palace.
The 28-year-old has scored twice for the Gunners since the international break and is now in line for a big opportunity to nail down a place in Arteta's side over the coming weeks.
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: "He will get more opportunities now, with it looking like Bukayo Saka faces a spell on the sidelines. I don't think there was ever any concern over Eze at Arsenal.
"The player is happy there as well, and as long as he's playing and contributing, I'm sure Mikel Arteta will be happy with him as well."
Gyokeres is unlikely to break into the Arsenal team after struggling for minutes of his own since the start of the campaign.
Sources have exclusively revealed to Football Insider that several other Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on Gyokeres' availability, and he could be open to such a move in the near future.
