**Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola is optimistic Florian Wirtz will be available for the Carabao Cup clash with Chelsea but says Dominik Szoboszlai and Victor Munoz are bigger doubts.**
[Wirtz picked up an ankle problem](https://hayters.com/liverpool-boss-iraola-on-beating-brighton-and-wirtz-injury-worry/) in Saturday’s 2-0 Premier League win over Brighton, though Iraola offered a positive update on the attacking midfielder ahead of the cup tie.
“I don’t think I can help you a lot. We still have to wait until later,” Iraola said ahead of the game.
“Florian was quite fine. I’m quite optimistic that he will be available.
“And with Dom and Victor, I’m not so sure. I don’t want to say no, but I think it’s going to be more difficult than Florian.”
Iraola also confirmed he plans to make changes to his starting line-up against Chelsea as he manages the workload of his squad during a busy period.
“There will definitely be changes, but we want to win the game,” he said.
“We will see how the legs are.”
