The Seahawks signed receivers Montorie Foster Jr. and Malick Meiga to their practice squad on Tuesday, bringing back a pair of players who were previously with the team.
Fullback Jackson Acker and linebacker Josh Ross were released to make room on the practice squad.
Foster, who first joined the Seahawks as an undrafted rookie free agent last year, was a standout in camp this year and made the initial 53-man roster. He appeared in one game this season and was waived on Saturday to make room on the roster for Anthony Bradford to be activated from injured reserve.
Meiga, an undrafted rookie out of Coastal Carolina, initially signed to Seattle's practice squad in September, then was released earlier this month. Meiga spent training camp with the Carolina Panthers after signing as an undrafted free agent. Prior to transferring to Coastal Carolina for two seasons, Meiga started his college career at Penn State. Born in the Ivory Coast and raised in Montreal, Meiga was also selected by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the second round of this year's CFL draft.
