The Cincinnati Bengals recently got back into the win column with a dominant road win over the Baltimore Ravens. The Bengals started out this game trailing 13-0, but outscored Baltimore 35-0 in the second half en route to the blowout win in the division..
On Tuesday, the team got an unfortunate update on a key member of the offense.
“The #Bengals have placed TE Erick All Jr. on Injured Reserve with what is believed to be a torn ACL, source say,” reported NFL insider Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network on X, formerly Twitter.
The Bengals have since made a corresponding move in response to the injury.
“The team signed TE Cam Grandy off the #Vikings practice squad,” he reported.
All Jr. had been enjoying a solid season for the Bengals, having been selected by Cincinnati in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft and steadily growing into a larger role with the team over the last couple of seasons.
Meanwhile, Grandy has also spent time with the Bengals' organization over the past couple of years after going undrafted in 2024, and now will reunite with the team with which he has spent the majority of his NFL career.
Joe Burrow has been rounding back into form over the last few weeks after a relatively quiet start to the season, leading the Bengals toward the top of the division, although they are still looking up at the upstart Cleveland Browns as the season approaches its midway point.
In any case, the Bengals will next hit the field on Sunday for a home game against the Tennessee Titans.
