Browns have apparently made their final Shedeur Sanders trade decision image

The Cleveland Browns have a lot of quarterbacks on their hands, especially after activating Dillon Gabriel. But as the trade deadline of Nov. 10 nears, there's one quarterback who's getting a lot of attention: Shedeur Sanders. Will the Browns trade him and get something in return?

The Browns got people questioning the futures of both Sanders and Gabriel after they officially activated Gabriel off injured reserve this week. Now, the team has Sanders and Gabriel, as well as starting quarterback Deshaun Watson and rookie Taylen Green on its roster. That's a lot of signal-callers. Having all those guys has made some question if Sanders is on the trading block.

Cleveland Browns insider reveals Shedeur Sanders' trade status ahead of NFL trade deadline

According to a Browns insider, Sanders isn't on that trading block. At least not for this season. Per Browns reporter Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Sanders and Gabriel are both going to stay with the team through the NFL trade deadline. She also says that Sanders is still QB2 for the team's upcoming game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, even with Gabriel getting activated before Week 8.

"To make room for Gabriel, the Browns waived seventh-round tight end Carsen Ryan, but will likely re-sign him to the practice squad if he clears waivers," Cabot stated in a piece. "The Browns always preferred to keep all four quarterbacks on the roster, and found a way to do it. If they had to move one of them, they would've tried to get Green through waivers and onto the practice squad, but it would've been risky."

So, Sanders is here to stay, for now. The Browns' next game against the Steelers is an important one, since both are at the top of the AFC North and both have 5-2 records.
