Barcelona returned to training on Wednesday after a couple of days off following their Clasiso defeat but were once again without Jules Kounde.
The Frenchman remains on the sidelines due to an ankle problem, although the hope still is that he could be available for Saturday’s match against Alaves, according to Jijantes.
Hansi Flick is already without Eric Garcia, Andreas Christensen and Xavi Espart for the match, meaning he is short of options in his backline.
The German coach did call up Alex Campos to first-team training on Wednesday along with Ebrima Tunkara and Hamza Abdelkarim.
Barcelona head into Saturday’s match in search of a response after disappointing defeats to PSG and Real Madrid and eager to return to winning ways.
However, Flick may be unwilling to take any risks with Kounde as Barca face Aston Villa next in the Champions League and then head to Atletico in La Liga.
