He has managed Paris Saint-Germain for over three years, and what Luis Enrique has achieved in that time has been nothing short of extraordinary. With Monday’s 2-0 win over Olympique Lyonnais, the Spanish boss now sits at 126 wins across all competitions for Les Parisiens.
His 126th win puts him even with former PSG boss Laurent Blanc for the most victories in club history by a manager of this team.
Luis Enrique can surpass the former PSG boss and World Cup champion with Les Bleus on Friday when his side travel to Normandy for a date with Le Havre AC. Third on that list is Luis Fernandez. Luis Enrique is also seeking a third straight Champions League title this season, which will be tough given the slew of injuries his club have suffered recently.
If PSG can lift the Champions League again next year, they’d be just the second club this century to do so three seasons in a row. The other was Real Madrid, who previously achieved that feat under current French boss Zinédine Zidane.
A win on Friday would be their sixth straight in Ligue 1 this season, one fewer than their longest run from 2025-26.
