The Toffees will head into the winter window with a priority to land a new number nine for David Moyes.

Thierno Barry is currently the Blues' only senior option up top, after a deadline day move for Folarin Balogun collapsed in the eleventh hour.

Deadline day left plenty of Evertonians irate with Angus Kinnear and Co., especially after the decision to sell Beto.

However, even with the Friedkin Group planning to sell the club, it is believed that Moyes will most likely still have at least two strikers by the end of January.

Beljo is one of several number nines that have been linked to Everton in recent weeks, as the latest financial figures emerge for the Dinamo Zagreb star.

Everton learn Dion Beljo financial reveal

Everton are one of several clubs interested in Beljo ahead of the winter window.

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are also both interested in the 24-year-old.

The Croatian international has a combined 25 goals and assists combined for Dinamo Zagreb in 17 games so far this season, and has even scored more than 40 times for both club and country in 2026.

But how much could Everton sign him for?

Well, CIES' Football Observatory tool values Beljo at a minimum of £24.3million, while his maximum price stands at £28.5m.

Considering Everton had £38.5m ready for Balogun, that seems like a no-brainer.

Could Beljo translate his skills into the Premier League?

There may be some concerns about the fact that Everton are targeting a striker from the Croatian first division.

However, the forward is proving that he is far too good for HNL, having scored 31 goals in 36 games last term, too.

But if that isn't enough for Everton to be convinced by, then take a look at the fact he's grabbed five goals and assists combined in six Champions League games this season.

The Dinamo Zagreb man also has three goals in two Europa League matches and netted against world champions Spain during the international break.

On paper, it seems like a smart move for Everton to make.
