Everton should be in the market for an attacking signing in January, and Dion Beljo is considered a potential option for the Toffees. Here is everything you need to know about the Croatian.
The January transfer window will give Everton a chance to hand David Moyes and Thierno Barry some support up front, with multiple names linked already.
Troy Parrott could be an option, especially considering he seems to inexplicably be falling out of favour at Real Betis. While Folarin Balogun may be on the table again after his failed summer transfer.
Now, we can consider Dion Beljo one of these options.
What’s your honest position on Thierno Barry at the moment? 10 big chances missed in the PL, but six goals across all competitions. It's fair to say he divides opinion at Everton, but Dewsbury-Hall is a fan…👀

Absolutely not good enough
He isthe worst striker in the Premier league no ball control no good at heading
I agree this has been a trend across Moyes career wherever he has managed
Everton linked with Dion Beljo swoop
While Thierno Barry is having a great season, he needs help, and that should come in the form of another striker to rotate with the current starting number nine.
Now, transfer expert Ekrem Konur has claimed that Everton have interest in Croatian forward Dion Beljo, who currently plays his club football for Dinamo Zagreb.
Beljo is viewed as a ‘Premier League-ready’ profile and is therefore wanted by several clubs. Manchester United, Leeds, Tottenham, Brentford, and both the City Football Group and Chelsea’s ownership group BlueCo are keen on the big Croatian.
Who is Dion Beljo?
Beljo is a 24-year-old striker currently playing for Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia’s top tier of football. He is a traditional centre-forward and is absolutely on fire in the early stages of the 2026/27 campaign.
He has scored 10 goals and assisted three in his seven games this season in the SuperSport HNL. Beljo stands at a whopping 6ft 5in tall, the same size as Thierno Barry, which would make him a like-for-like alternative in terms of physical threat.
Not only a lethal striker, but he is also capable of being a creative outlet with 13 chances created this season already, which has him in the 100th percentile. Beljo is a dominant forward in the box, winning 57% of his duels and 80% aerially, a real handful for defenders.
Bringing Beljo off the bench to replace or put next to Barry would give Everton another dimension, extra threat, and, importantly, a second striker option.
There will be questions over Beljo’s current competition levels, but against Spain during the international break, he scored a goal while up against Barcelona and Real Madrid centre-backs.
This would be a really interesting addition of a forward who looks made for Premier League football. But competition is going to be really steep.
