"They'll get a deal done..."- Massive claim drops regarding significant Liverpool business

**As question marks continue to surround midfielder Alexis Mac Allister’s future at Liverpool, former scout Bryan King has dropped a positive prediction.**

The Argentine has made a pleasing return to form this season, following such a poor 2026/27 campaign by his high standards, and he feels as important as ever.

Mac Allister is yet to be offered a contract extension at Liverpool, however, and the 27-year-old has made it clear recently that he has been hurt by that.

But now, speaking to [_Football Insider_](https://www.footballinsider247.com/liverpool/liverpool-to-get-a-deal-done-with-alexis-mac-allister), King has claimed that the World Cup winner will end up signing a new deal at Anfield, despite links with a move to Real Madrid:

_“He’s played every game. They’ll get a deal done, don’t worry about that. There’s no danger there. He’s got that very tough midfielder attitude. He’s looking to win the ball. He scored a couple of goals this season._

_“I wouldn’t hesitate. I’d certainly give him a new two-year extension. He’s played every game. If playing every game isn’t enough to think, ‘well, let’s take a chance._

_“‘Let’s give him a year-with-a-year option, even.’ He wants to play for the football club, so that’s always a good plus. He’s a good player. He’s a World Cup winner. I just think it’s a no-brainer.”_

**Liverpool HAVE to hand Alexis Mac Allister new deal**

-------------------------------------------------------

As mentioned, Mac Allister merits a new contract at Liverpool, responding to not getting a new deal admirably and showing that he is arguably the Reds’ most important midfielder.

Ryan Gravenberch is struggling to fully impress under Andoni Iraola, playing poorly in the Carabao Cup win at home to Chelsea on Wednesday night, while Dominik Szoboszlai lacks some discipline in a double pivot.

Mac Allister still has four or five years in him at Liverpool, and to see him leave next summer instead of signing a new deal would be a big error by the club.

The Reds’ No.10 has proven so many people wrong after a year of struggles, and deserves immense credit for it, and he can become a true Anfield great if he stays for the remainder of his peak.
