That is according to former Manchester City financial adviser Stefan Borson, who exclusively told Football Insider that The Friedkin Group (TFG) would send a huge message to the Toffees if spotted at the game.

TFG are yet to make the trip to the Hill Dickinson Stadium despite being in charge for the last 21 months, with Dan Friedkin having no face-to-face contact with David Moyes since the takeover.

Man United face Roma, TFG's other club, in the Champions League on Tuesday, 3 November, and their potential presence at Old Trafford is already being speculated on.

Given that Everton's owners have not visited Merseyside since the takeover, an appearance in Manchester would likely send shockwaves.

TFG could cause Everton uproar

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson admitted that he will keep an eye on whether TFG make an "interesting" appearance at Old Trafford.

"I think that would send a message in itself. The Friedkins are fortunate at the moment. They're not really seen as an enemy, as far as I can gather.

"They're not really seen as an enemy of the club or the fans. They're seen as a sort of transitional owner from a difficult regime that's managed the completion of the stadium, the refinancing of the club, and now potentially on sale.

"I don't think there's a particular, obviously fans always want the owners to spend more money on players. That'll always be the case."

David Moyes doing an incredible job despite Everton owners' failures

It is easy to understand why supporters are so upset right now, with their manager being forced to work wonders with the current squad.

The Toffees needed so many more signings during the summer, evidenced most by the amount of minutes Thierno Barry is having to play.

Despite the upcoming protests, Football Insider understands that Moyes is still set to be disappointed by TFG's plans ahead of the January window.
