Here are the player ratings for Barcelona.
**Starting XI**
**Joan Garcia: 7.5/10**
Did not have much to do this game but made the right commitments when necessary. Unfortunate to concede a goal near the end of the game.
**Brian Farinas: 8.0/10**
Impressive performance from Brian Farinas, he made sure to deal with his defensive duties well and also linked up with Lamine Yamal quite effectively. The youngster shows a lot of promise.
**Pau Cubarsi: 8.0/10**
Almost flawless with his passing, the young Spaniard was dealing with both his defensive and creative duties quite effectively. Top performance from the young defender.
**Frenkie de Jong: 8.5/10**
Looked a bit shaky in terms of some defensive actions, but his distribution and ball progression were both almost flawless. The Dutchman adds a lot of composure to this team, and having him be available is a true blessing for Flick. Held his own quite well in an unusual position for him.
**Joao Cancelo: 7.5/10**
Decent game from Cancelo, who managed to get an assist for Lamine Yamal’s sensational first goal. However, he made a few reckless decisions here and there as well.
**Rodri: 8.5/10**
Battled it out over a lot of duels and won possession back for Barcelona in important areas. His assist for Anthony Gordon’s goal, in particular, was a thing of beauty as well near the end of the game.
**Pedri: 8.0/10**
Dictated play wonderfully during the first half, and created several chances as well. Moreover, he set up the play with a great pass that enabled Barcelona to score their first goal. Taken off at half-time to possibly give him some extra rest.
**Lamine Yamal: 9.0/10**
Despite a quiet start to the game, Lamine Yamal grew into the match and completely took over eventually. Scored two stunning goals, and set up Fermin Lopez for his goal as well. Beyond that, his creative prowess was on full display and he should have had another assist to his name as well.
**Fermin Lopez: 9.5/10**
Sensational in this match, the Spaniard was relentless in terms of trying to win the ball back and making the runs needed to help the team. Provided two great assists and scored a great goal from a tight angle himself as well.
**Karim Adeyemi: 7.0/10**
His pressing was quite effective and he made the correct pass and the right runs on a number of occasions. However, he was abysmal with some of the chances that came his way during the game.
**Raphinha: 8.5/10**
The Brazilian forward was pressing relentlessly and made the opposition uncomfortable in possession. He also managed to score twice on the night, with both goals being set up brilliantly by Fermin Lopez.
**Substitutes:**
**Marc Bernal: 7.0/10**
Replaced Pedri at half-time and did quite well to hold his own during the game.
**Alejandro Balde: 6.5/10**
Looked solid on the left flank after replacing Joao Cancelo, but appeared to have picked up a knock to his back.
**Gabriel Jesus: 7.5/10**
Tracked back consistently, held up the ball well, and even set up Lamine Yamal’s second goal.
**Anthony Gordon: 7.5/10**
Scored with a brilliant chip over the opposition keeper shortly after coming on.
**Gerard Martin: N/A**
Not enough time or influence on the game to warrant a rating.
