For the fifth consecutive time this season, Chelsea Women are taking a short trip within the London region to face a Women’s Super League rival. Today the opposition are Charlton Athletic, having just promoted themselves from the Women’s Super League 2 after beating Leicester City on penalties in a play-off.
Things have been rough for the newcomers. This can only mean one thing: a chance for the Blues to pad their (positive) goal difference and get themselves back in the league table’s lead.
