The Gunners arrived at Anfield on Sunday looking to end a long winless run at the ground which went all the way back to September 2012 - when current manager Mikel Arteta was a member of the playing squad.
Kai Havertz broke the deadlock in the 16th minute, ending his Premier League goal drought in the process, and Arsenal managed to hold on from there to take full advatange of Manchester City’s slip-up at home to Brighton on Saturday.
