Manchester City launches ‘Christmas, Together’ campaign for 2026

Manchester City has launched its ‘Christmas Together’ campaign for 2026, celebrating community spirit through football and bringing people together during the festive season.

The campaign forms part of the Club’s ongoing support for its official charity, City in the Community (CITC), as it celebrates its ‘40 Years’ anniversary.

At the heart of this year’s campaign is a festive fundraising initiative featuring Christmas cards co-designed by Manchester City men’s and women’s players and local schoolchildren, bringing them together to create unique designs and share festive messages with loved ones.

The campaign launches with a hero film featuring players and local schoolchildren working together to design the cards. The film captures the creative process, light-hearted interactions and shared moments between players and children, bringing the campaign’s message of togetherness to life.

The designs created during filming have then been transformed into a collection of physical Christmas cards, with support from graduates of Manchester School of Art at Manchester Metropolitan University, giving fans the opportunity to share their own City Christmas messages with friends and family.

The Christmas cards will be available to purchase from today, both online and in all Manchester City UK stores, priced at £6 for a pack of six.

All proceeds made from the sale of the card packs will be donated by the club to City in the Community, as part of its ongoing support for the charity’s 40th anniversary this season.

Fans are also able to send Christmas e-cards through Cityzens.

Commenting on the launch, City in the Community CEO, Michael Geary, said: “Christmas is a time when people come together, and that sense of connection sits at the heart of this year’s campaign.

“Through the Club’s Christmas card activation, we wanted to create something that brings our players, young people and fans together in a fun and meaningful way, while also giving fans the opportunity to support City in the Community during its 40th anniversary celebrations.”

“We’re looking forward to seeing the cards shared between City fans, friends and families around the world this Christmas.”

Funds raised through the campaign will support City in the Community’s work to empower healthier lives with city youth across Greater Manchester. During the 2025/26 season, the charity reached 18,000 participants, averaging 23 hours of contact per participant.

Supporters can also get involved in City in the Community’s ‘40 Years’ campaign through a range of fundraising and celebration activities throughout the season, with Manchester City matching donations*.
