Barcelona quartet make 26-player shortlist for prestigious FIFPro World 11

FC Barcelona had another memorable last season, as they retained their La Liga and Spanish Super Cup titles. Even though they were unable to defend their Copa del Rey title and make the expected progress in the UEFA Champions League, there is no doubt that it was still a very good season for the Blaugranes.

Several of their players also stood out with their performances. This was most clearly the case with Lamine Yamal, who also won the World Cup with Spain, and [ended up third in this year’s Ballon d’Or ranking](https://barcanewsnetwork.com/it-will-come-barcelona-star-yamal-sends-defiant-message-after-ballon-dor-disappointment/). Other players like Pau Cubarsi, Pedri, and Raphinha also impressed quite a lot in the 2025-26 season.
