Four Arsenal players have been named among the 26 finalists for the 2026 FIFPRO Men’s World 11 following the club’s successful Premier League title-winning campaign.
David Raya, Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba and Declan Rice have all earned nominations for the prestigious award, which recognises the outstanding performers in world football.
The quartet will compete for places in a team selected exclusively through votes cast by professional footballers.
FIFPRO confirmed that 19,806 players from 73 countries participated in this year’s voting process, making it one of football’s most significant peer-recognition honours.
The nominations reflect Arsenal’s impressive performances during the 2025-26 campaign, when Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta guided the club to the Premier League title.
Raya is one of three goalkeepers shortlisted alongside Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois and Argentina international Emiliano Martinez.
The Spaniard’s inclusion represents further recognition of his contribution to Arsenal’s defensive stability and success.
Gabriel and Saliba have also been rewarded for their performances at the heart of Arsenal’s defence.
The centre-back partnership has been central to the Gunners’ development into one of Europe’s most formidable defensive teams.
However, both players face considerable competition for selection, with Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk and Paris Saint-Germain’s Achraf Hakimi among the other defensive nominees.
Barcelona youngster Pau Cubarsi and Bayern Munich’s Dayot Upamecano are also included in the eight-man defensive shortlist.
Meanwhile, Rice is Arsenal’s sole representative among the midfield nominees after another influential campaign.
The England international will compete against several established stars, including Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham, Barcelona’s Pedri and Paris Saint-Germain’s Vitinha.
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes and former Manchester City midfielder Rodri are also among the seven midfield finalists.
The award considers performances between August 4, 2025 and July 19, 2026, with players required to have featured in at least 30 official matches during that period.
FIFPRO’s selection system guarantees places for one goalkeeper, three defenders, three midfielders and three forwards.
The final position is awarded to the remaining outfield player who receives the highest number of votes, regardless of position.
Arsenal’s four nominations provide another indication of the recognition their players have received following last season’s achievements.
However, the Gunners will have to wait to discover whether any of their representatives make the final team.
The 2026 FIFPRO Men’s World 11 will be announced on Monday, November 9, at 5pm Central European Time through the organisation’s official digital platforms.
