However, the club’s attacking depth has been heavily questioned, with Christos Tzolis, Noni Madueke and Bukayo Saka all having picked up injuries so far.
Arsenal failed to bring in major attacking reinforcements in the summer, despite allowing both Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli to leave.

It is understood that Arteta’s top priority is to sign a world-class forward as he looks to defend the Premier League title and go all the way in the Champions League this season.
Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi is among the names on the Gunners’ shortlist.
However, the Cherries do not want to sell the forward mid-season, and Arteta’s side would likely face stiff competition from PSG and Bayern Munich for the 20-year-old’s signature.
Arsenal also remain keen on a potential deal for Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz, a player they reportedly pursued last summer.

Any move for a new forward is likely to depend on what happens with Viktor Gyökeres, whose Arsenal future has been called into serious question.
Arsenal are also understood to be prioritising reinforcements on the left flank, with Arteta keen to bring in a versatile forward capable of operating in several attacking positions.
The Gunners explored moves for both Morgan Rogers and Vinicius Junior during the summer transfer window, but failed to secure either player. Arteta is now determined to address the situation in January as Arsenal continue to compete on multiple fronts.
