**Arsenal have been handed a major injury boost with William Saliba back in first-team training ahead of their Champions League clash with Slavia Prague.**
The defender took part in team training on Tuesday as Mikel Arteta’s side prepared for Wednesday’s trip to Prague.
[Saliba has been sidelined with a back injury](https://hayters.com/arteta-gives-positive-update-on-saliba-as-defender-steps-up-recovery/) since the World Cup and has yet to play this season.
His return to training raises hopes that the France international is closing in on a return to action, although it remains to be seen whether he will be involved against Slavia Prague.
Arsenal head into the Champions League fixture on the back of Sunday’s 1-0 Premier League victory over Liverpool at Anfield.
