FC Barcelona will be looking to regain some momentum in the UEFA Champions League as they take on Aston Villa at Camp Nou this evening.
Heading into this game, Barcelona have officially announced their starting eleven that will take on the Premier League outfit, with Hansi Flick making minimal changes from the side that secured a 6-1 win over Deportivo Alaves on the weekend.
Brian Farinas continues at right-back after impressing against Alaves. He started in the absence of several key defenders including Eric Garcia, Jules Kounde and Xavi Espart.
Joao Cancelo continues on the opposite flank while Flick has made only change in defence, bringing in Gerard Martin at centre-back at the expense of Frenkie de Jong. Martin starts alongside Pau Cubarsi in central defence, with Joan Garcia starting in goal.
In midfield, Flick has remained unchanged, with Pedri and Rodri forming the double-pivot, with additional support from Fermin Lopez.
Fermin was outstanding against Alaves and he will hope to continue the same form against Aston Villa this evening, especially with Dani Olmo currently sidelined with an injury.
There is one change in attack. Karim Adeyemi makes way for Anthony Gordon, who scored in the 6-1 win over Alaves.

Gordon forms the familiar Barcelona frontline alongside Lamine Yamal and Raphinha, both of who scored a brace in the last game.
