**It was a very frustrating day for us at West Ham. We didn't manage the early part of the game well enough and it cost us the match.**
Sometimes when we won the duels we didn't clean the ball well enough. That is a term I use where we can maintain possession better. We were passing on poor detailed passes so therefore we were just turning the ball over to West Ham.
They are a counter-attacking team with pace and Kelly Gago and Viviane Asseyi were a real handful for us. They also had the option to bring Riko Ueki on as well for the second part of the game and she is a very good player as well.
There is lots for us to reflect on. I think we've been good recently at doing those things and that gives us the opportunity to stay in games, whether we take our opportunities or not, but we didn't do that at West Ham.
We have been struggling with our final entries in the final third of the pitch and we know we have some notable losses at the front end, missing the likes of Ceri Holland and Aurélie Csillag.
I want to give a special mention to our supporters, who were great again on Sunday. They kept with the team, which is not easy at all when you are 3-0 down at half-time.
They really backed the players all the way, as always, and we are so grateful to them for that. We really appreciate them and are just disappointed we couldn't give them something they could go home and be happy about.
We certainly have things to work on this week in our build-up to Sunday's game at Anfield.
We know we've got three tough games in the WSL coming up now with Arsenal, Brighton away and then Chelsea at St Helens Stadium.
They are not easy games, but I think we know what we can get from the players and it's just a case now of building them back up to go again.
We might be able to get Ceri back in training maybe one day before the Arsenal game, but she won't be ready for that one; hopefully we can get her back for the trip to Brighton.
Thanks for your support.
YNWA,
**Gareth**
