Barcelona defenders Andreas Christensen and Eric Garcia are reportedly both confident they will be fit for Sunday’s La Liga match against Atletico Madrid.
The duo are out of action currently due to injury but are expected to return shortly. Christensen has already been spotted back in training as he aims to play his first game since September.
Garcia has been out with a thigh injury but is another player on the comeback trail. According to Mundo Deportivo, the duo both think they will be fit and available for Sunday’s match.
Sport say both players were in training on Wednesday as Hansi Flick turns his attention to Sunday’s match after a midweek Champions League win over Aston Villa.
Flick will certainly be eager to have as many options as possible for the game. Diego Simeone’s side are just two points behind Barca in the table, making it a key match in the race for the title.
The Barcelona boss also has injury concerns over Rodri after the midfielder was taken off at half-time of Tuesday’s Champions League win over Atletico with a calf issue.
