FC Barcelona lost two important forwards, Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres, during the last summer transfer window. Although they signed Gabriel Jesus to reinforce the center-forward position, this area looked clearly weakened on paper when the transfer window ended.
However, the Catalan team’s attacking performance has been excellent, and this is mainly because of the way Raphinha has adapted to his new role in the center of the attack. [He has been the spearhead of the team’s attack](https://barcanewsnetwork.com/raphinha-9-0-joan-garcia-8-5-fc-barcelona-3-0-aston-villa-player-ratings/), having already scored 19 goals in 13 games so far.
For their part, Barcelona seem to be ready to reward the Brazilian forward for his incredible performances. As [Mundo Deportivo](https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/fc-barcelona/20261104/1004247239/oficial-raphinha-firmara-manana-2030.html) has reported, the Blaugrana club announced on its official channels that agreement with Raphinha for his renewal has been reached, and he will sign his new contract in a ceremony which will be held today, on Thursday.
The club’s statement went as follows:
**“This Thursday, 5 November, the signing ceremony for first-team player Raphael Dias Belloli, known as ‘Raphinha’, will take place, confirming his contract renewal until 30 June 2030. The agreement will be signed at 12 noon in President Laporta’s office, after which the player will address the media in the Commercial Office.”**
The statement went on to reveal the length of the Brazilian forward’s new contract and highlight his achievements with Barcelona so far:
**“The Brazilian footballer will continue wearing the Blaugrana shirt for at least another three and a half seasons. His contract renewal comes at a time when the number 11 is enjoying excellent form, having already scored 19 goals so far in the 2026/27 season: 15 in La Liga and four in the Champions League. It is worth remembering that Raphinha is the fourth Brazilian with the most appearances (190) in Barça’s history and also ranks fourth in terms of goals scored (94).”**
With the way he has been performing for the last few seasons, there are no doubts left about Raphinha’s importance for Barcelona. Thus, this renewal is good news for everyone, and hopefully, the Brazilian will continue playing at this level for years to come.
