It has only been a few weeks since the end of a highly busy summer transfer window for FC Barcelona, during which the Catalans brought in seven new players and saw several of their own players join other clubs. However, the Blaugrana sporting department still continues to work without any breaks.
Yesterday, they completed another important operation, as Raphinha signed his new contract, which will keep him tied with Barcelona till 2030. Keeping in view the importance of the Brazilian forward in Hansi Flick’s plans, this is undoubtedly a great achievement for the club.
However, the sporting department’s work continue unabated. As [Mundo Deportivo](https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/fc-barcelona/20261106/1004247784/raphinha-barca-tres-renovaciones-punto-caramelo.html) has reported, following Raphinha’s renewal, the Catalans are now working towards finalizing the new contracts of three more players, i.e., Marc Bernal, Brian Farinas, and Gerard Martin.
In fact, [everything has already been agreed with Bernal](https://barcanewsnetwork.com/deco-confirms-barcelona-have-secured-triple-contract-agreement/). The Spaniard signed a contract till 2029 in 2025, but will now sign another new contract that will extend his commitment by another two years, till 2031. He has remained an important player for Flick despite Rodri’s arrival, but his renewal ceremony might not take place till after the end of the international break.
Following Bernal’s signing, Barcelona will shift their attention to Farinas, who remained with the Blaugrana team during the last summer transfer window on Flick’s own insistence. His current contract ends in 2028, and the new contract is expected to keep him at the club till 2031.
After that, the Catalans will start working on the renewal of Gerard Martin. The defender signed his last contract in January 2025 till 2028, but since then, his importance for the team has increased significantly. He remains a fixed starter alongside Pau Cubarsi in the center of the defense, and thus his renewal would be another important operation for Barcelona going forward.
