There aren’t a whole lot of great memories for Broncos fans from the two years with Russell Wilson as the team’s quarterback. Wilson’s contract left behind one of the biggest dead salary cap hits in NFL history after he was cut in 2024, as the Broncos took a cap hit of $53 million last year and will take another $32 million hit in 2025.
The contract wasn’t the only thing tied to Wilson that lingered around Denver after he was cut.
The House of LR&C, a clothing store founded by Wilson and his wife, Ciara, has been in operation in the C Concourse at Denver International Airport since June 2023. For travelers who didn’t know the backstory of the store, it didn’t take long to find out as there was a massive mural of Wilson and Ciara on the back wall.
The shop closed on Feb. 17 after being in operation for nearly two years.
The store rarely had any customers perusing the racks for new clothes, and seemed to be more of a filler store for travelers to spend time in while waiting for their delayed flight to board.
Of the many times I passed by this shop in Concourse C, I saw someone walk into the store once. They looked at a couple of items and then turned and left. https://t.co/Kpmg0fRFkp

With this location’s closing, there are no more brick-and-mortar locations for the store in Colorado. The store still has a large online presence with clothing options for everybody.
